ASHI BLS CPR/AED Course
This course is designed for healthcare providers and professional responders to train in the recognition of life-threatening emergencies and how to perform CPR, use an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator), and care for a choking victim. The course covers these topics for the care of adults, children, and infants.
The course lasts between 4-5 hours and provides certification for 2 years upon successful completion of a skills competency evaluation.
This course is conducted in an in-person classroom format.
Materials: a student course manual will be for use during the class will be provided on-site.
Requirements: Must wear comfortable clothing that allows movement and must be able to physically kneel on the floor to perform skills.
Recommendations: It is highly recommended that you bring water to maintain your hydration as this is a physical course. It is also recommended that you eat a healthy meal prior to the course.
